Mineral-based adhesive for bonding EPS styrofoam insulation boards. Tested according to ETAG 004 standards. Used for bonding EPS (expanded polystyrene) boards and XPS (extruded polystyrene) boards on various mineral substrates. It is also used for embedding reinforcing mesh before applying decorative façade coatings.

APPLICATION

For optimal application, the working surface must be level, solid, stable, and free of dust. The material should be mixed thoroughly with clean water until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. The mixed material should rest for 5 minutes and then be mixed again before use. Material that has already hardened must not be reused by adding water. The adhesive should be mixed in a clean container using appropriate mixing equipment. The adhesive should be applied with suitable tools. The reinforcing mesh should then be placed over the adhesive with overlaps of at least 10 cm. The mesh must be covered with adhesive with a minimum thickness of 1 mm (at mesh overlaps at least 0.5 mm, maximum 3 mm). The working temperature should be between +5°C and +30°C. A 25 kg bag should be mixed with 6–7 liters of clean water.
